How do I install and use the Optivise add-in for Excel?
Open Microsoft Excel and go to Insert → Add-ins → Get Add-ins, search for "Optivise," and select Add. Once installed, open the Optivise pane from the Home tab, sign in, and type a request in plain language — for example, "build a cash-flow model" or "clean up this sheet." Optivise reads your active workbook and applies the changes directly. The add-in works in Excel on the web and in Excel for Windows and Mac.
How does billing and credits work?
Optivise runs on a credit system: each AI request consumes credits based on the amount of work performed. You can view your remaining balance and purchase more credits from your account dashboard. For questions about charges, refunds, or your subscription, email support@optivise.app and include the email address on your account.
Where does my data go, and is it kept private?
Your workbook content is processed only to fulfill your requests, and we do not sell personal data. We store customer data on a secure private cloud. For full details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
I can’t sign in or the add-in isn’t responding — what should I try?
First, confirm you are using the same email you registered with. Then close and reopen the Optivise pane (in Excel on the web, reload the browser tab; in desktop Excel, close and reopen the task pane) so the add-in reloads. Clearing your browser cache or checking that pop-ups/third-party cookies are allowed for optivise.app resolves most sign-in issues. If the problem persists, email support@optivise.app with your Excel version (web, Windows, or Mac) and a short description of what happened.
How do I request deletion of my account or data?
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Email support@optivise.app from your registered address with the subject "Data Deletion Request," and we will process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
